Approximately 3 hours it has taken split over 2 sessions and now Shilo is asking for the bit himself.
EXACTLY Like the horse Abigail in the centaur videos here on the uni, apart from that Shilo has not been abused and is not head or ear shy.
I am over the Moon With happyness .
I had word With Henrik at the Mustang farm and told him of my plan re the bit, he was happy to help.
2 days ago i was there and used the honey Stick and did just as Monty did.
Today we spent little over 1 hour to complete the training and it was a big success- Shilo comes down with his head and searches for the bit, he allows the bit in his mouth with no fuss and bother.
I reapeted this about 15 times, it worked every time.
So, I today for the first time have saddled and bridled my own horse, and Ridden him alone in the round pen.....
I don't have words to describe the elation.
Thank you so very much Monty Roberts.

I am so pleased for you Dionne, and very glad that Henrik was open to a new way of doing things - all credit to him to being open to learning too. Here's to hapy times!
We're all sooooo proud of you Dionne!!!
Your learning curve went rocket high and you put the needs of your horse at place # 1,
this is a great example for us all. There's no need to be a profi to know what's best and what feels right... You did just that for Shilo!
Looking forward to reading how your journey goes on...keep the good work going.
