I've not done much with our boys over the wet weeks, but started again today with Pye.
We start off with field join up, it takes about 8-10 mins and he seems to enjoy this as a start up to training.
After we'd done some training and he accepted me comfortably on his back so I finished the lesson, led him away and squatted down in front of him on a loose rein. He dropped his head next to mine and kept there for a good few minutes, so I took off the dually to see if he would stay. BamBam had been coming across to where we were standing and as soon as I took the dually off Pye turned and charged at BamBam sending him away. As soon as BamBam went off, Pye turned and walked back over to me and stood with his muzzle on my cheek, I could have stayed squatted there for hours if I'd had the time lol. :D :D :D

A lovely moment, Mel. Poor Bam Bam - pye was obviously saying she is my friend keep away!
:D BamBam is only 3 and has much to learn about boundaries. Quite often if I've sent BamBam away because he's been a bit too cheeky like climb up the steps into our hut to get at food lol.. I send him back down the steps and away then Pye also tells him off :D
Have a good weekend.
