Couldn't find this subject in the Forum so I'm starting a new topic.
This is not a personal problem, but on a forum where I am active in a thread for horses born 2008, there are a couple of members that post about having sometimes big problems when they have tied their horse up in the isle to groom them.
The horses will dance about, "head-bang", step around, get sweaty, call out and leave 5-6 piles of droppings in less than 30 min.
Their specific problem is not to behave, or being able to stand still/tied up - they can do that - they just get very nervous and stressed out when things happen around them in the isle.
.
From what I can read, most owners handles it well by staying calm and adrenaline low, but the question remains how to help the horse to calm down and ignore its surrounding more.
.
I thought maybe it could be an interesting topic for the Uni, so I am bringing it here.
