Dually & Mini Horses

Hello! 100 lessons completed

Has anyone ever used the pony sized dually on a mini? I've used one on a Shetland just fine, but it seems a little cumbersome for a mini sized head.

Hi there!
.
Oh wow, that's a big question for a small horse!
.
I have never worked with a miniature horse. But I don't think the pony sized Dually would fit them. So because of that I would make myself an improved form of a Dually Halter. Just a normal halter that fits, make it quite snug and then put a small rope over the nose. Should work the same way, right?
.
Tell us how it works!
Whishing you luck

Actually, I'd forgotten that I did that with a small pony once. And yes, it did work. I used washers in place of the rings. Thanks for the reminder.

Hello!

Well, with those little fellas, you don't really need any halter, just a Great Dane harness. OK, I'm joking, sorry, I couldn't help myself.

I have 2 little horses, both around 10hh. I use the green dually (extra small) on them and it works really well.
How small are your minis?
