Dear friends
Rahni Edgar had a beautiful idea: opening a closed group in Facebook to allow us to exchange videos and other documents. Now a new (official) group has be founded: "Equus Online Uni Group". Unfortunately there is only scarse discussion about the published videos. Who has already made one knows how difficult it is to create it. Are there too many technical problems?

I hope everyone is too busy enjoying their time with their horses to be on the internet. But if you are not enjoying horse time, then please participate in our discussions on the forum and facebook. Be part of the solution and not part of the problem, join in and make this site the best if can be. Thanks

Since we can't upload vids here, I think a closed Facebook group is a good idea.
BUT while I'd LOVE to discuss vids, sadly, I for one simply don't have time to be in one more place to discuss/check up on stuff - regardless of subject. Sorry!
My preference would be the vids uploaded to YouTube (for private showing) and discussed here where we all are.
.
I understand the disappointment in the lack of participants on the new Facebook group, but I also do hope the discussions don't migrate off this place to continue there instead.
Greetings everyone,
I regularly read this forum and also Uni group. The reason I don't write is that I feel I don't have enough experience, I've just attended Intro course and will start working myself and filming my work. Of course, I have to send them to my instructor so she can tell me where I make mistakes. I love reading other people's comments but I don't feel that I have anything smart to write. Please do keep making videos and sharing your knowledge!

Dear Kicki. I still think that there is a technical problem. I tried to discuss the last video here in the forum. Maybe the thread has not been read because it was called "Facebook" under "The listening lounge...". Or is it too difficult to get the access to the group?

Hi Rudi
I agree we could make more effort to look and comment; it is a pain having to log on to facebook (I dislike Facebook generally) and I find it all confusing between Home page, walls, timelines etc etc. I just dont get it! lol However, I have a suggestion. Either the person who first sees it/wants to comment or the person who puts the video on there starts off a new thread here rather than just adding to the bottom of the new one and puts the link in. So title could be "New video for comment" and similar things and then the link. What do you think?
I think unless people are asking for critiques of their videos we don't necessarily feel the need to comment on them. I've watched most of the video's posted but if I don't have a question about the video or they are not asking for help regarding technique or whatever, no comment is needed. I enjoy the facebook Uni, but I feel like people are so busy in the summer...we don't spend as much time on the internet.
Thanks for your contributions. I think Vicci has made a good proposal. I will try.
