Sorry I post alot but im trying to get rid of little problems bit by bit. My mare was probably hobbled on her back legs when she was younger. No one can go near her back legs, and she kicks just about anything right around her back legs. Even the farrier has problems. I cant touch the bottom of her back legs because she will kicks out. She has my trust but she literally doesnt trust anyone, not even me, with her back legs. She even kicked a poor dog in the head once. She wont even trust the other horses around her back legs. I post alot I know but I really need to know how to fix this problem? Im going to ride her etc this weekend so I could do work with her this weekend.

If you look at the lessons, there is one about training the horse for the farrier. If I'm right there should be a lesson in there in how to use a fake hand on a stick to desensitize the hind legs.
