I thought riding a horse on the track after a two hour ship was brutal until I saw how happy the horse was to, what seemed, let his stress out and run for fun. I was thinking that the approach was a good one before shows when ridden right after shipping.

Yes, Clemhaven, I thought the same thing: "oh, he must not rest. He can come out and have some fun!" Yes, and why not ? that teaches me that we often think into the totally wrong direction. VioBerlin
I really enjoyed seeing this big horse running, and I absolutely get it as to how important it is for him to keep a good mind set and to improve his already amazing athletisism.Oh for a track or a beach and that freedom! So many horses, especially in jumping and dressage need this track work to let them GO ! It will make them so much stronger and happier in their disciplines.Even barn soured riding school hacks would totally transform if they had this facility. Here I have dirt tracks to ride but always have to have(light) hand on the brake just in case there's a damned car coming round the next bend, which inhibits my horse from doing what IS his intrinsic nature,RUN!If I could really run him freely,I am sure he would unglue his brain via his feet.See my "Won't go out" in forum.Wonderful Uni! many thanks Mr.Roberts, loved the spin!
