What should I do next?

Hello!

Hi,everyone!
As I have said elsewhere in the forum, I am new to horses and I would like one of Monty´s teachers to tell me whether I should follow specific steps/lessosns or just follow the order the lessons are already in. Everything is new to me and to Willow as she is only barely 2 years old. The three or four Join-Up sessions she and I do will be the only experience either will have and other than running up the mountain to try first, catching the semi-wild horses and then, Joining-Up with them in the "wilderness" there is no place I can learn with horses.
I am happy to follow the lessons as they are because everything is fascinating and I want to learn as much as I can. I just wonder if, because I am so "raw" there are certain things I should know first.
Thank you!
Christy

Good question!
We placed the Words from Monty and the Join-Up lessons at the top of the lesson pages first as the introduction because everyone likes to start there. The professionals and the leisure riders all like to work on their communication and relationship skills with horses.
After that the University has enough lessons to move around on freely depending on your needs, skills and interests.
Monty is unique in that mostly he is across disciplines with his message. A horse is a horse. And they all speak Equus.
Hope that helps.

Hello!

Thankyou, "local" . I guess I´ll just go on learning everything I can in the time I have and apply it as I need it. The forum and the Q&A are also very enlightning because I see more people have similar questions.
I love what you say : "A horse is a horse and they all speak Equus"!
Everything helps,
Thanks,
Christy
