I was just watching my subscriptions to youtube and Montys' channel came up with a new posting.
This video is amazing. He trained the men who were to operate the huge puppet of the horse in the language of equus.
This is the stage production that was first in England and is now playing in New York.
At the end of this video he asks us to see the movie; War Horse which comes out very soon and to tell him what we think.
I'll be going with my husband, daughter and granddaughter and be bringing a box of kleenex.
If it is showing in an area near you please let me know what you think.
Have a great day,
Ronda

I too just finished watching Monty and Kelley interview the puppitiers for War Horse. I am always amazed at the enthusiasm Monty and Kelley for that matter, demonstrates when talking about horses and how we should interact with not only horses but with each other.
Hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas.
Cheers
Hi Ronda and Dennis,
.
Me too watched the video and yes it is amazing. Did you see how the real horse was reacting on the puppet one?
.
I will go when it come is Holland, I am not sure, but I think it will be in February.
.
Bye, May.
I just saw it too! It's awesome!
Yes I was amazed at how realistic it seemed even to American Pie and how he would approach the puppet.
Imagine the genius behind such a design.
Also the manpower to hold such a weight for such a time over ones' head!
Ours come here on Christmas day.
I'll wait unti Tuesday, that's cheap day here, and go then.
I'll let you know what I think.
You guys let me know too.
Have a great day,
Ronda
Hi Dennis,
I'm reading Montys' book, Horse Sense and it explains about that as well, it's a great read.
Thank you for your wishes, I appreciate it, but we do not celebrate Christmas.
You and your family have a great day,
Ronda
Ronda, pardon me for asking, but how come you don't celebrate Christmas?
I really don't want to get into that on the forum, horse addict.
But if you really want to know you can go to my youtube account and ask me there, Ok. I will receive an email post letting me know someone commented on my videos and I will answer you there.
Or you could give me an email address and I will talk with you there, OK.
I really want to keep my posts here based on horsemanship.
Thank you so much for asking.
You have a great day,
Ronda
Hi Ronda! It's ok you don't have to tell me. I don't have a youtube account and I don't give out my email. Have a good day.
Hi horseaddict,
I hope I have not offended you in any way.
My reason is personal and I do not want to offend. I am happy you understand.
I understand about your email, smart!!
It was a great day, nice walk with STAR,
Ronda
glad you had a good day Ronda! :)
Ronda and anyone, let me know how the movie was. I probably won't be able to see it until it comes on DVD.
Planning to go see Warhorse this weekend!...taking a BIG box of tissues with me! expecting lots of tears but it should be fantastic. Will let you know what it is like.
Ronda i had a look at the puppets on you tube and thay are unbelievably life like. It is great they asked Monty to train the Puppeteers. I would really love to be able to see the Broadway version of it. We get not much at all like that here unfortunately :-(
Enjoy your walk in the magical snow :-)
Janelle
Hi Janelle,
I was to go last night but my husband has a bad cold.
They are only showing it at one theather here, right now and tickets will be sold out.
I am going to buy in advance, so we wont't have to wait.
I hope I'll be able to sit through the whole thing.
Let me know how you enjoy it.
On Montys' international join-up site he has a posting about the movie as well, very interesting.
Have a great day,
Ronda
