How do you prepare a young horse without any experience to the first Join-Up in the Roundpen?

Rudi,

Do some dually halter work so the horse listens well to you. Then just go for the J-U. That's all we usually do in class at MRILC. And that's all I did with three weanlings I was working with last year. It went just fine. Good luck!
