I would like to see a session or more done on stall manners. Alot of different ideas are out there from clicker training a horse to stand on a mat to how you stand (open or closed)in the stall with the horse. I try to use the elements of join up in the stall as well but time to time find my mare wants out and is right over my shoulder near door and I make her take a few steps back. The same with Gate manners in the field. The older mare insists on getting her halter on before the 2 yr. old and sometimes crowds me trying to herd the 2 yr. old when I put her halter on. Again I try to put the older ones halter on then put her in a stay, and step away to put the younger ones on. When I have help I let them take the 2 yr. old out first while I stay in field with older mare and make her wait to go out gate. Is there anything else I should be doing? Irishwabbit
