Hi there guys!
I'm on a crusade and I really need your help!
I'm currently working to put together a magazine article here in Australia about the damaging effects of single line lunging. My only problem is that I'm in need of two or three photos before and after of a horse that has had this problem and then had work done to remedy it. My own horses don't have this problem and I can't find anyone else who do or else they aren't willing for photos to be taken because, quote "people will think I'm a bad horse person".
Would anyone happen to have two or three high resolution, good quality photographs they would be willing to give the use of for this article? Ideally one showing the horse 'motorbiking', and one showing them working correctly with two leadlines, with perhaps one in between showing progression if possible. Full publication rights would be required, with full credit given in whatever form you choose (its a low budget magazine so I'm rather hoping to have the images donated rather than having to purchase them).
If ANYONE can help me spread the word about such an important issue by helping me out, that would be GREATLY appreciated.
Cheers,
Laura :)
Hi Laura
I'm wondering if you could 'freeze frame' and photo from Monty's videos on here at all? Just a thought :-)
Yes u can just push the Print Scrn sysRq on your keyboard and copy and paste the photo in your paint program.
I'm not sure I'd legally have publication rights for those...
Oh geese, if my mare were still alive, I would volunteer! (before I knew better) I single line lunged her for years and she ALWAYS counter cantered :( much to my frustration at the time as I had NO idea why! I look back now and I think "dah!!"
Anyway, I hope you find some one soon!
Have you popped it on the Uni FB page?
