I would love to see videos regarding putting a proper stop on a horse. I know you can use bigger bits and get it accomplished but is there a more natural way to do this?
Thanks!

Hi Horseman805,
Did you see the videos on the 6 imperativs? One of those is on teaching a young horse to stop. Building up from a quiet stop towards a sliding one is a process that grows with the development of the horse, nobody says you need to take your horse the whole way. If you want to find a safe and gentle way to make the horse want to stop, it'll help you in a situation where you really need it. Thank you for looking for a natural way to ask your horse to cooperate and be your partner.
