Hi! I would love to see how to teach a saddle horse to "pony" another horse. I saddle trained for trail a 4 yr. old and want to start taking her to trails, eventually taking my 2 yr. old baby. I have an indoor arena to work in and an outdoor one and a roundpen where I board. They are buddies and the 4 yr. old herds the baby already. Thanks, Irishwabbit

Anyone else want to see a lesson on training a horse to pony for you and a lesson that shows both sides of it. One from the horse you are riding,anything you can teach them to prepare them to help you,,and lessons to gently teach the target horse to follow trustingly

FYI,original horse in first post is now almost 4 but just ground work so far and riding horse is just passing green stage,new to bit,used to bosal but now on bit. Has been on trails and works well in indoor too.

I would like to see some lessons on ponying too. How to properly pony another horse and how to gradually work up to ponying in the open and on trails. What to do if one of the horses spooks, etc.
