When I was a kid, and in school, I learned in history class about the invention of the locomotive, and that before the locomotive was invented, they used horses to pull the cars around. As a part of the lesson, in history there was a race between the locomotive and the horse to see which one was faster. The question for me, was whether the locomotive won the race or the horse, silly me being a crazy horse lover, I said that the horse won, of course it was the wrong answer, and the teacher was not happy at all! Lol!

LOL!
Fun stuff!!!!!!!!! Many years ago, a Snowmobile dealer challenged a friend with quarter horse to a quarter mile race. He had the machine super tuned up but our "four legged running machine" won the race-no problem.
Well addict dont feel silly, it would depend over what distance wouldnt it as lynda points out?! It would take the loco ages to gather speed so over a short distance horse would win, so you may have been right after all hahaha !!
LOl! Yeah I guess so!
