This first lesson is interesting to me. I was surprise how quickly the non western person was able to get her horse to turn on the hindquarters. Her success intrigued me to try this beginning lesson with my horse on the ground. He was wearing his Dually Halter and I stood next to his Haunches with one arm resting over him so I could move with him. It worked! He left a nice round mark on the ground and a circle around it! I am so excited. It only took a few very gentle tugs on the rope that was attached to the Dually Nose Band. It was also very cool to be turning in a circle and watch my horses front legs crossing over each other as he went around me.
Thanks Monty for another Awesome Experience with my horse Joey!
