Hi Guys,

Just a quick post - I hope you guys with iPhones and Android phones like the HTC, iPads and other tablets, all enjoy using Monty's Equus Uni wherever you are, as we are now, officially mobile internet device friendly. :-)

One thing, please do make sure your OS (operating systems) are up to date. On an iPhone and ipod touch and ipad, that means plugging in your device to your computer, opening iTunes and telling it to download and install the latest software (for apple it is iOS 4.2.1). For Android phones (like the HTC Desire) that's Android 2.2.

If you ever want to check the best system, just click on the Mobile Friendly icon on the Uni site.

Hy ,

on my ipad, the online university is not running...Version is 4.2.1.
Why is that?

Hi,

certainly should be. Try connecting to your mac/pc, opening itunes, check software updates and see if you need new software.

Also check your Quicktime player is uptodate.

I am sure then, all will be well.

Also when you click on a lesson you may get a black screen (depending on speeds of your internet) for a minute but a play symbol should appear. Let me know how you go.

Maria - by all means email me at my work email for more hands on help if you need it and the same goes for anybody wrestling with new equipment/study in the Uni on so called MIDS (mobile internet devices like the iphone 4, iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tablet and so on).

PS If any of Monty's students are thinking of buying an appropriate device to use and study the uni on, whilst traveling or at the livery yard/barn or wherever, if you click on the Mobile Friendly icon on any page, it lists the devices we recommend (but many many others will also work!).
