We recently have purchased land for our horses, whereas over the last 16 years we have always boarded. We didn't pay much attention to manure management because we didn't have too. However, dumpsters to haul it away and composting in a large pile are not methods that we would like to subscribe to. It appears you can compost in three rotation piles and keep them covered to avoid runnoff and water contamination. We bet Monty has some great person insight into composting and would love to see a segment on this part of taking care of our "willing partners".
Thanks
