I'd like to see videos on the uni about handling things like colic, founder and injuries, as well as the basics of things like taking temprature and pulse. The better educated we are on these things, the safer our horses are with us when there is no vet nearby, so Id love to see more lessons on care as well as training.

While those would be really interesting topics to see in video, I think it would be questions for the forum rather than lessons.
There's a lot of very experienced people here who would certainly give really good advice and we have a search bar to find all the answers we need ;)
Thanks! I have found very useful info on the forum and have books as well, but I'm one of those people who learns much better from watching something actually done on video or in person. The paint in your profile picture is so cute! Is he/she yours?
Hi Mustang girl, I've shown Debbie, Monty's daughter, your message and it's something that will be looked into.

I'm afraid I am going to disagree with you Lucie :-) I think this is an excellent suggestion for a video. Basics such as heart rate, taking temperature, checking for injuries etc. etc. would be great done as a video. However, you are right too in that the forum is there too!
I agree with the Mustang girl this would be very helpful to all who do not know the basics of health as well as myself and I have been a health care attendent most of my life.I know these are things all of us could learn from. The youngest to the oldest.I will be watching for this type of imformation to show up,thank-you Mel
Thank you Mel!
that would be something that I would totally be into.
we need to be more educated even if its what to do till the vet comes
