Hi..I'm new and so excited to be here ...the reason I joined is I have a 10month old colt in the yard...I've done the join up he comes to me follows me..now I lead him..gives to pressure but he's behind me..the way I've been taught is to go at his shoulder side and take lead rope and swing it at his hindquarters to walk beside me and not behind me..just want to know your input of is there a lesson somewhere on this topic ?

HI!! if you go watch the DUALLY HALTER there is 8 the first 2 or 3 really do not talk about leading a horses a you shoulder but the other ones do and how to make it happen they are great lesson.. go check them out.. i think it will really help you on what you want to know..
