Wow, I'm amazed and so pleased about my join up with LT, my cremello. He's about to turn 3, and it has made a world of difference in his maturity. When I first tried it, he was only two. He was confused and afraid, so I decided to let him mature a little without a lot of pressure. A world of difference.
This was his first activity after a wet winter in south Texas. He's out of shape, but I think that helped humble him a little. He followed me all around without the lead, and submitted to being saddled with a curcicle, and side reins.
Today, the day after, he's seeking out my company, and very calm and docile while I cradle his head. He was very spooky and jumpy before. What a difference!

Congratulations, Wagonmaster!!! That is so great.
Hi. Very well done. You have no accreditations yet. Either you are new to the Uni or you have not completed Montys Challenges which follow each lesson. Once you've watched the video press 'Done' & Monty's Challenge will appear. This earns you rosettes. Good luck. Cheers, Jo.
Sounds great WagonMaster - enjoy :-)
Well done Wagonmaster. It is awesome when it works for us effectively. A fantastic result.. Guessing you are new to the uni. so welcome. There is so much to learn here and it is lots of fun. I am sure that you will solve your turning problem too but remember your boy is still young so try not to expect too much of him. I would take a break from the long lines for awhile and conentrate on ground training with the dually to build up his confidence and trust and to totally familiarise him with the dually first. He is only young so there is plenty of time. Remember to keep your sessions short and always finish at a good point even if this means finishing before you planned to. Try to ignore the wrong behaviour but give big rewards for correct responses. Stay calm and remember to breathe! Have fun.
Excellent Wagonmaster !!
Good advice from Maggie, you'll also find at the stage you are with him, work through the videos as suggested and lessons after the videos. You'll find them in a good order to help train LT!
If you're not sure where the lessons are, where you watch the video there is a tab just above the video, one says video and to the right of it says Lesson. Click that and answer the questions, once you've gone through the questions you'll have a link appear at the top of the questions saying to go to the next lesson. Click that link for it to register properly that you've completed the lesson, especially if you watch from a mobile device.

Ooo, just been on the videos and got the tab labels wrong. The video shows on Lessons and the questions to answer is called Monty's Challenge.
