Not strictly a lesson question, but it would be great to have an "Ask The Expert" section on the forum, with the answers provided by qualified people such as farriers, equine dentists, saddlers etc.

Hello Emlaw, You do bring up a good point. However, in horse training there is no such thing as an "Expert". We are all at different levels of training. So instead of a "Ask The Experts" area maybe we could have a "Q and A" sections.
You have a SUPER website The Horse - with newsletters and free webinars every week. Always 100 of articles from "the experts" and all different angles to look at things! For Equus, just keep it coming ! Warmest CI Ann Lindberg Sweden
I agree, I live in UK and don't have access to an area suitable for join up. Would love to be able to ask the best way to handle a new horse that has come to us and is difficult to 'read'.
Christena - I do think that properly qualified people like vets, Master saddlers and equine dentists can certainly be classed as experts. They have studied their subject in depth and it is their career. I was thinking that an Ask The Expert section would be more for specific questions topics like health, teeth, saddle fitting etc rather than general horse training - with the answers supplied by professionals rather than just any forum member.
