Dose any one know any thing about acetyl-d-glucosamin glycan (adgag)? It is for horses and dogs with arthiritis and joint problems. We were giving it to are dog thinking he had arthritis but that not the case at all so I was going to give it to my 24 year old horses and was even thinking about giving it to my 7 year mare. But I was trying to find more info on it Before I just start giving it to them. And was wondering if anyone know anything about it or if anyone is giving it to there horses and how it works? Thanks for u help

The supplement is safe and somewhat effective in helping with joint discomfort and lowering the effects of arthritis. My question is do either of these horses suffer from joint problems or arthritis. If not why do you want to give them this supplement? Most joint remedies that actually work are exspensive and take a long time to become effective. Most labels say a few months before noticible improvements are seen. I use Cosequin® Equine Powder for my horse and was very happy with the results. It was used to treat a joint injury to help it heal, which it did and he is no longer taking the supplement. This product is very similar to what you are using. Hope this help answer your question
Cheers
